WHAT DOES HYPNOTHERAPY FEEL LIKE

Hey
Do come with me
And you will see
A realm I know and love -

The world
Of trance

Did you know

Many clients have told me being hypnotised feels like they have had a massage!

Others have said that they have had a lovely doze, waking up feeling light and refreshed - peacefully euphoric - energised yet peaceful

Many just smile and say, ’I really didn’t want to come back’

Did you know

Hypnotherapy is just deep, deep relaxation

Amazing things happen when you relax on purpose - your breathing naturally slows down - you use your own awareness to allow the muscles in the body to release - when you give up holding onto the body and really ‘let go’ - wonderful things happen - the intelligence of our super-conscious mind starts to heal us on the physical, mental and spiritual  levels.

Time can feel distorted - very short space of time can feel like a long journey - an inner journey - clients still have awareness of events outside their bodies but are overcome by the bliss of being in touch with their true self.

Clients say, even though they know they could open their eyes at any time, and come back into the world of thought and their external senses, they didn’t want to because they loved the peace and stillness of their inner self - the warm, familiar ‘knowing’ of who they really are - like that feeling just before falling asleep - cosy, restful, secure

Hypnotherapy, meditation, and deep relaxation are all trancelike states which increase alpha brain waves. Brain waves are patterns of electrical activity which affect our thoughts, emotions and behaviours.  Inducing alpha brain waves results in feelings of peace, being present, and allows the mind to rest and reset which improves mental and physical integration and sense of well-being.

Our inner world feels like ‘nothing to speak of’, and is often overlooked for the stimulating outer world, and obscured by the pressure of thoughts and feelings.  However getting to know that inner space results in deep peace, joy, love, and security.  It is our  true ‘home’ or source.

Allowing access to this space through hypnotherapy, meditation, or relaxation will comfort and nurture us while we deal with the complexities of our lives.  Being hypnotised will give you a taste of how quickly this space can be actualised, so more and more you can live from your centre and feel secure in knowing who you really are, and the immense power you have at your disposal.
